Cute Card Thursday challenge 171 Technology

Hi Everyone:
I am so bad! I should have posted this today earlier and I just was no feeling good this morning and dragged myself through the day:-( I am finally trying to pull it together:-)
This week's Challenge at Cute Card Thursday is "Technology"
We Want to see your cards featuring some sort of technological discovery. For example Robots, Computers, Phones, MP3 Players, Cars and other forms of advanced transportation....let your creativity run free!
Our sponsor this week is Whiff Of Joy and the prize will be 1 rubber stamp in the Whiff of Joy line.

I used a Tiddly Ink Digital image for my robot Cutie:-)
I pulled paper from DCWV Boys paper stack, and a random piece of paper I have in my scraps bin, I had a hard time with this card and adding embellishments, I wanted to keep it simple but felt it was too plain, sometimes the Mojo just isn't there , I had a blast coloring the image with my Copic Markers and matted the cool papers with Limeade Bazzill, I even managed to find lime green ric rack in my ribbon pile:-)
Supplies used:
Copic markers: C5, C2, YG21, YG25, B91, B93, Y35,
Image: Tiddly Inks
Image printed on Paper Temptress cryogen white
DP: DCWV
CS: Bazzill Limeade

Tanner made this set to use for other cards too, not just this fathers day card!

DT Monday at Mr cricut crazy

Hi Everyone!
I hope your having a nice Monday:-)
This is a card for DT Monday over at Tanners -Mr cricut crazy Blog:-) I am using his new stamp set called Summertime Fun . When I saw the stamp set I knew I wanted to use the Cricut Flower from the new summer collection cart. I was going away for a short weekend to fla. looking for a house and wanted to find a image for the card that I could use my cricut machine with. I love Tanners sentiments and I liked working with the clear stamp, It stamped like butter:-) My next card will be a colored image with another of his sayings!

I used a piece of Stamping up DP with Black and pink cs from bazzill and added a few flat backed pearls in black to keep it clean and simple:-) I love how it came out, but will use my e2 cricut next time instead of the Imagine which seemed to be giving me a bit of trouble on a day I didn't have a ton of time to fiddle with!
Here's what Tanners Summertime stamp set looks like, I have plans for quite a few of the sayings:-)
Thank you for coming by to see my card:-)

Strawberries and Cream color challenge

Hi Everyone!
Here is another challenge for this coming new week at Crafts 4 Eternity that is a color challenge and to use the colors of strawberry and cream! Well I had to think for a minute as to what I wanted to create, I tried working with Design paper, and didn't like anything I came up with so I decided to go sort of simple......Gasp! This is not what I'm used to, I like flowers, glitter, rhinestones and such! but it's O.K. sometime to just go simple:-)
Our Sponsor this week is Delicious Doodles and I used their image called Mushroom Fairy
I got creative a bit here, after coloring my mushroom with Copic markers , I tried to make the spots white with paint, but the red leaked through the white, so I added flat back pearls in two different sizes and then toned them down with my Copic YR31 marker:-)
I worked with red SU CS and a piece of cream american crafts CS, I used my Martha Stewart border punch? not sure what the name of this one is. and made a strip of the red and cream. I topped it off with Paper Trey Ink ribbon. I added stickles to her dress and a little bit of Tattered Angels glam in Tide Pool to her wings! That's about it:-) I am off for the weekend with my Husband house hunting in Orlando Fla.

Teddy Bo Shaped card Challenge

Hi Everyone:-)
Bet you didn't think I'd have another card so quick?? I have gotten my mojo and am on a roll and love it! I cannot get enough Teddy Bo Images:-) I decided to try the Teddy Bo challenge and to enter myself for a spot on their great Design Team, so This card is not a normal card, Their challenge is for a "shaped card" not square. I decided to use the image called "sausages"

My little guy was a bit intimidating but once I got the BBQ grill done, the rest was fine
I tryed to get this angle better for you to see I used dimensional glaze to make my Grill Shiny, and the sausages too! but it didn't work,
I paper pieced his apron so there wasn't so much white! because i searched and found a chefs hat clip art, enlarged it, to make a template, cut it out of a piece of cricut 12x24 cardstock in white to make the fold and shaded in the grey area's with prisma pencils! Yes I went out there with my vision of a shaped card! Copic markers were used to color my image and that little puff of smoke on teddys apron was cut out, colored and popped up:-) I enjoyed myself so much with this wonderful teddy bo image and hope I gave you all some inspiration in the process:-)
Have a great weekend!

Challenge #18 Here Comes The Sun

Welcome Everyone:
Today I'm sharing a little cutie, that Crissy Armstrong created called "Sandy," that you can find at Whimsy Stamps!
Over at Sundays with Crissy, Challenge #18, the theme is "Here Comes The Sun" This month our challenge theme is "Here Comes The Sun". You may interpret that any way you wish, and create a card, scrapbook layout, or other paper craft using either rubber or digi stamps. There will be 5 free digi's given to the winner! There is a whole month to join but remember it is till June 30th.
I colored my cutie with Copic markers and added Crystal Lacquer to the pail and shovel but no matter what i did I couldn't get the shine to show on the pictures:-( I added to the bottom a new item I had gotten in the winter called Mudd Puddles- Malibu Beach, which is like sand in a milky substance that when dry is clear, and you kind of spread it on to the thickness that you would like! I was going for the look;-)
Yes, I pulled out my sewing machine just for this card because I just thought it would add to the layering effect! I used my pack of Sweet Summertime from Echo Park for the DP and the fun sun sticker, and sentiment. I hope you've enjoyed my creation today, remember to check back at Sundays with Crissy often as each design team member has her own day throughout the month!
Supplies used:
Copic Markers: BG01, BG10, B000, R22, R24, R27, E11, E00, R20, Y11, Y18, E31, E34, YR31, E35.

CCT 167 Embellish it

Happy Thursday !!
We're almost at the weekend YAY! And over at Cute Card Thursday we have a new challenge for you:-) It is to Embellish the main image:-) That can be ribbon, pearls, rhinestones, glitter... and I went a little crazy and used a piece of jewelry wire to look like fishing line! Our Sponsor this week is The Stamp Shopee:-)
As I said I used wire to look like fishing line, and well, It kinda wouldn't stay where I wanted it to:-( I used glue and well, it should have worked but it had a mind of its own, I like it, but the images black line is there and that was driving me nuts but I do like the effect! I also added dimensional glaze to his tackle box, and the fish and the reel to make them look shiny I also added stickles in a teal color on the fish to give him more "pizzaz" hehe My Image is another cool image that is a perfect choice for a "guy card" which is a Teddy Bo image called "gone Fishing" I colored him in Copic Markers and added prisma pencil as shading in chocolate brown, and a hint of pale blue around the bear as a shadow.
The Design paper is a combo of Basic Grey Origins/refresh and Stampin up designer series "tall Tails" . Stampin up CS was used also in I believe it's Old olive. I hope you all go check out the rest of the Teams wonderful creations:-)
Supplies used:
Image-Teddy Bo gone fishin
Copic markers: Yg93, YG95, W8, W6, W4, C5, C2, E50, E51, E53 Prisma Chocolate pencil for bear shading.
