C4E Alter it challenge!

TGIF!
Hello and Happy almost weekend! It's time for a new weeks challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity! This week it is to "alter something" which could be an altered embellishment, or an object. The prize this week is 3 digital images from Crafts 4 Eternity:-) Please go over and see what we have come up with
I used a some odd girl image, called BU'Fly Tia because I just cannot get enough of these cute images:-) She was colored with Copic markers and I added stickles to her wings for glimmer
My wonderful husband took me to Blick Art Supply a few weekends ago and I found these binder books by Strathmore called Visual Journals they are 5X8 and I had a plan for at least one book which I bought in Bristol paper simply because I wanted to turn it in to a Copic Journal, where when I color an image i will do another , cut it out and glue it in the book, sort of like an Old school scrapbook of my copic colorings:-) so I have a back up of color combos I love and will be able to look back on with the numbers written next to them!
I went through my newest paper packs and yes MME is my favorites right now:-) I think these are still from the Quite Contrary line, which work on just about anything. The ribbons do match better then in the photo, but sometimes no matter what you do to fix a photo, it just doesn't show the true colors of an actual item. I added the ribbon so I can possibly use them to put inside my book as bookmarks:-)
SUPPLIES USED
Image: Some odd girl
DP: MME Quite Contrary line
Copic Markers: E11, E00, E000, R20, BG72, BG11, BG10, E35, E34, E31, R83,

Hey Dude! CCT Sketch Challenge

Happy Thursday

And here we are with a new Cute Card Thursday Challenge:-) This is easy as it is a great sketch to follow this week, which I've added below! This week our sponser is Kraftin Kimmie who is giving 2 free stamps as the prize to the winner:-)

I picked a Some Odd Girl Digi Image this week, called surfer Kody. I Need a birthday card for my middle son, Andrew who lives in Saint Louis MO, and I don't get to see him much so Surfer Kody was a perfect choice to make for this challenge:-)
Here is the sketch to follow, Very nice to work with

I used Design Paper from a 6x6 pad I've had in my stash fro Pink Paislee 365 degrees that I thought would work with this cute surfer Dude! I added a few dark blue buttons from PTI and printed the sentiment on my computer:-) I used my Copics alone this time, I didn't think I needed any prisma pensil shading on this one.
I hope you will all go look at the really awesome creations the fellow design Team members have come up with and maybe you will join us in the fun this week:-)

CCT Lets Get Krafty

Hi Everyone
Today we have a new challenge for Cute Card Thursday, Color on Kraft! I had a little issue with this challenge because I have never colored on anything other then white and cream colored cardstock! I started with what I thought was SU kraft CS but then wasn't sure?? So I dug through my paper packs and found a MME set that is actually printed on Kraft so I used the back of one of the pieces to print my image on:-) The sponser for this week is Some Odd Girl, who has adorable images in digital and clear stamps, they are giving the winner this week 3 digi images

I recently found a new Company, Thanks Pops! called Teddy Bo and fell in love with quite a few of their Digi images, this one called "Another new tie" I thought would be perfect to add to the Kraft color for a Fathers Day card for my Husband:-)
I added Basic Grey and paislee Dp with a Kraft cardstock back. I added Twine from SU to make it look more manly, which is way out of my comfort zone but fun to push myself to other things. My sentiment is from My Pink Stamper stamp set Happiest Moments, Some navy buttons out of my paper trey ink collection was added because I felt like it was too plain. Wow is it kind of hard to make a guy card and think up cool embellishments:-) Please go see what the other girls came up with this week and why not enter a card ? XMicheleX

color recipe challenge c4e

Hi Everyone:-)
Here we are at another Friday and with Blogger down, my post is way later then normal for today.
Our Challenge this week is a color combo

I decided to use the color combo of Bazzill Grenadine(the DP matched perfectly!) Coal, And Vanilla. I used an Elizabeth Bell Digital image called "Rachel Little Angel" I colored her with Copic Markers, and added stickles to her wings, I printed the image on Paper Temptress Cryogen White, so the paper wasn't bright white and I like the glimmer of sparkle in it!
Here's a closeup of the full image,
Below is the colors that you can use any combo of:-)

I just cannot get enough of my SU Punches and just used the corner one for this card . I wasn't sure I wanted to add flowers but without them it looked too plain:-) so off i went to dig through my Wild Orchid crafts flower drawer:-) There is a little hint of black flat backed pearls I have had in my stash.

C4E-Sketch Challenge

Happy Friday Everyone!
It's Friday so that means a new Challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity, and what better way to spend National Scrapbook Day, Tomorrow, then to make a card for the challenge:-)
This week we have a sketch for you to use for the challenge which I have included below. The prize is a card kit from Crafts 4 Eternity.

I used a Tiddly Ink Image called Cookie Bugg, which I thought was adorable and wanted her in bright colors !
Here's the sketch we are using this week, I added a sentiment to mine because I liked the saying

I used MME paper from the Dreamy collection, I kind of had a hard time at first with this sketch to get everything to not get lost on the card. I colored her in with Copics and added stickles to her wings, I cut out the glass and added dimensional glaze which did not photograph like I wanted:-( I need to get new photo lamps, as one blew out on me! The sentiment and glass are from the kit at Tiddly Inks which also had printed chocolate chips as a background. CS is Bazzill. The punch (which is my favorite right now) is by Stampin Up.
OTHER CHALLENGES I would like to enter this in are:
Papertake weekly- Anything goes
Flutter by Wednesday- this week it's open-just used butterfly, angel or fairy--I know my image is called Cookie Bugg but she looks more like a fairy and she has wings so I used her:-)

Supplies used:Copic markers, SU Border Punch, MME Dreamy collection, Bazzill, Tiddly Inks Image, cookie bugg, clear rhinestones colored with copic markers. Stickles
Hope you all have a great weekend!

Challenge #17 Flowers with Michele

.Welcome Everyone,
This months challenge over at Sundays with Crissy is all about flowers! You can do whatever you'd like, as long as your creation has a flower on it:-) It can be floral paper, stamps, embellishments just to name a few.
For this months challenge, I used Crissy's new image called "Nose to Nose" which can be purchased at Whimsy Stamps. This month one lucky challenge participant will win five free digital images, all the details of the challenge are Here.

I colored this adorable image with my Copic markers and I added a hint of extra brown on the puppy with a chocolate prisma pencil which was my first attempt at working with Prima Pencils:-)
Theres a tiny bit of sunshine yellow glitter in the middle of each flower to give a bit of sparkle!
MME Stella Rose was the paper of choice with my image, paired with SU dotted ribbon, a pretty Prima Flower with I inked a bit and a few Bo Bunny Buttons and little pale orange Rhinestones that are kind of washed out at bottom left of card.
Please go Have a look often at Sundays with Crissy challenge blog as every so many days there will be a new Image spot light from a different DT member:-)
Have a great week my friends:-)
