2 challenges in 1 CDM & Friday Sketchers

Linnie gave us the theme this week over at Cute Daisy May of "Hot, Hot Hot" in the color family which I knew would be reds, yellows and orange:-) I used my cutie girl from sheet 11, Picked my DP from a mat stack I got from Janene:-) which is the new Basic Grey June Bug line. I'm adding this card also to the Friday Sketchers challenge. I added Bazzill CS, Used a small maroon ink to ink all my edges just a bit, the trims again are from Janene, I used two brads from the doodlebug line of cherries jubilee but cut off the stems and added pop dots to the back. I colored my image with my copics and added a tiny dot of black spica pen in the center of her flower in her hair! I had a wonderful time doing this card I love the layout and will be using it again:-)

Copics used: E000, E00, E11, E34, E37, E31, Y23, R59, R08, R05, R02, Y11, R20, YR15, Y15

Whiff Of Joy Guest Designer Call

I decided to make a card to put in the WOJ Guest Designer call,Go Have a look at the information Katharina has on there, It's Whiff Of Joys Anniversay!! I have enough of the stamps so why not use them:-) I used DP from Adornit , Bazzill CS, May arts ribbon, and Prima Daisies, also used flat back pearls from Michaels! I inked the edges of the papers with black. I also cut a second set of of wings and used dimensional glaze and glitter, and pop dotted them just because I thought it would look neat 3-d:-) I sponged a little momento blue ink in the background behind the image for a cloud effect:-)Sentiment on word and matted.

Copics used:E000, E00, E11, R20, R21, R22, R24, N1, W9, W6, W3, E47, E59, E49, E53.

Copic class I taught with Tilda:-)

I just had my second Copic class that I taught to a wonderful group of ladies that I'm proud to say have become my friends:-) I decided this class was for them to work on hair variations and skin tones! They had a wonderful time and by the end of the night they "got it" their shading was wonderful and I'm proud of them:-) I wanted to put up the card I made for them to make after they were finished shading , so this card here was the model I made for them:-)

Janene was supposed to teach the class with me, but decided to let me loose on my own: I think of it as the mother bird dropping the baby out of the nest to "learn to fly" I was a bit afraid to teach the class on my own but agreed to teach it with Janene and found when I got to her house that first night that I was teaching it and she was in the wings - now she knows I would have had a panic attack if I knew I was teaching by myself but Janene the trooper she is knew I could do it and I did!! I'm proud of myself that I moved out of the box on this one!

I made the card using DP by Chatterbox, card stock was bazzill, and the yellow is a paper trey ink piece, the oval sentiment was from Magnolia but I did my own version on the computer since i hadn't bought the saying and needed something, I used my SU new Oval punches for the sentiment, add a little fun tulle I had in my cabinet and my Tilda from the spring line and colored with my Copics:-)

( I used these colors because I knew the girls had the yellow and green markers from the week before so I made it easier of them to do it the same way!

copics used were:E000, E00, E11, R20, YR21, YR23, YR24, YG93, YG95YG97, C9, C5, C3, E25, E49, E53, E59 and a hint of spica pen on the bees wings:-)

I hope you like it, I know the girls did:-)
